Precious Study - Introduction

As with any field of artistry, I as an amatuer quickly found myself admiring the work of countless others who began their work before me. When I became fascinated with Digital Art, the artists below were some of those who first captured my wonder. I’ve consistently referenced their use of texture, colour and more recently, story telling.

I make a habit to carry my camera to most of the functions I attend in case I happen to catch something picturesque. In the summer of 2020, my friend Precious invited me to a picnic - I had my camera with me. I managed to get a few shots and decided to try my hand interpreting these shots artistically, specifically paying attention to the styles of the artists below and combining them with my own (elusive) style.
